The Provos knew that the doctors etc.oved by what Morrison called the politics of "a just war" to assist in the poisoning of their charges, the Catholic population of West Belfast and Derry. That was sufficient reason for the doctors to poison poor families with amphetamines, barbiturates and other stimulants and psychoactive substances to get their fighting game up for the 'struggle for national freedom' of Gerry Adams and Danny Morrison's imagination.
Both held West Belfast in a grip of narcotised excitement for decades and terrorised the police and soldiers until Dr Joe Hendron and John Hume and the Catholic Church and medical regulations tightened up on the prescribing practices of patriotic doctors,as they called themselves. The loyalists by killing and threatening journalists and Finucane and Nelson snuffed out the legal gravy train to the chemist by dissuading lawyers from fomenting violence with false and misleading narratives and frivolous legal actions.
