Momentous change is underway in Ireland because of success at the polls for the fissiparous elements united under the Sinn Fein banner. Acts of curtilage are the response of those schooled by a Catholic country priest and a routine scholar such as Greer and Stannard. An Irish conspectus

The Provos, most lawyers and urban priests are all basically people who never intervene to help anyone unless someone is standing on his legal rights. All those divergent groups believe firmly in laws or the Law. They are at heart drawn to legality because they want to exercise power over people,not deliver basic justice.

When you have done with their bogus claims and invoke what few rights you have and go to law, beware of their followers. They will spread rumours and circulate false stories and allegations.

Ultra-leftists

The rabble-rousers never talk about their true loyalties. They aim to waylay the literary innocent attracted to socialism into fronts for publishing empires such as Bookmarks of London, Findlaters of Glasgow and Collins-Random House of New York, Haymarket Press and Pathfinder Press and Pluto Press.

Publishers and their agents learned their old tricks of proxy politics from the front groups set up by Russian Military Intelligence in the 1930's. Then,socialism had given way to nationalist socialist and police terror.

The nationalist agitator tries to tie the worker to the tail of the doleman and unemployed,a trick learned from the priest and detective.

Most workers take no part in nationalist street games organised from Sinn Fein offices and civil society centres and dole offices.

They realise that if they become involved with the unemployed and police they risk being beaten up by that parcel of rogues and arrested when striking back in self-defence.

The doleman endangers the very well being of the worker and his family because,as often as not,if he doesn't get his way he will throw caution to the wind and come at his foil with a knife or gun. That is the point of origin of the hooligan movement in Ireland in the 1880's.

Criminals 

It is impossible to teach those inculturated in poverty and idleness and vice and crime any discipline.

In our country,it has become impossible because of the grip of the idle classes to get a working class candidate elected. Sinn Fein encourages the hooligan to vote, a strategy long abandoned by Fianna Fail. The latter sees the danger posed to public order by the criminals professing nationalist views.

If Sinn Fein's claims to speak on behalf of the poor were ignored by society and the media interest groups,we would live in a much healthier,more work-conscious region.

Whatever about crude fripperies such as "Brits Out!" and "Irish Reunification" there is and will not be major support for the Border Referendum.

National liberation is not a socialist demand.

National independence and self-government are both democratic demands.

 If Sinn Fein want to stay on message,they must look beyond the end of partition and come up with real plans for social development in a law-governed state.

Socialists,trade unionists and social reformers and internationalists prefer to sit out the conflict of Irish nationalists and English imperialists and allow this carnal fury to vent its loins.

I ndeireadh na dala,it will be the working class which is left with the task of clearing up the mess left behind by people like Barry Mc Elduff,Eamann Mc Cann and Stevie Mc Cann not forgetting that random access madman,Colm Gildernew.

As was the case in the South after the conflict,the dolemen will be on their way to London for higher doles and more lenient treatment by an over-indulgent state.

In Ireland in the past,there were very few workers apart from agricultural workers and tradesmen,labourers and transport  workers. The rest were spongers. After Partition,the poor went to England to sponge. That is the reason the English hate the Irish. They realise that they are beggars and tramps at heart who need a good kick up the ass to get them going. The only people in Ireland who can deal with the real Irish are Fianna Fail. They whisper old nursery rhymes in their ear and put a few coppers in their begging bowls. The Irish poor, particularly the people of Dublin,are the road to no town. Anyone who tells you different takes you for a fool. (The only people who know how to get things done in Ireland are the Provos because they know how to play one man off against the other and how to use and abuse.)

The dungmongers are marginal to social life but appear in mediaeval and decaying societies. They are dolemen, parasites,old widows and cornerboys.

I say,if Labour and democratic upper class politicians spend more money on primary care (as they call it) and NHS psychiatry without independent monitoring for criminal defamation, hospital intimidation and staff brutality,it will inevitably lead to you as a member of the public, someone you know or a member of your own family being consumed by the deathriders who operate the NHS engine of mayhem.

As a temporary solution to the grossly defamatory remarks being levelled at vast numbers,I am in favour of reducing spending on health and cutting doctors salaries. 

In my experience,the NHS has been largely counter-productive since 1968-9.

Our endogenous problem in Ireland 

No more money should be spent on public psychiatry without a series of independent reviews. 

I speak from a wealth of personal experience of the hospital gulags in the years after the Good Friday Agreement.

Medical terrorist activity was immediately launched by discontented housewives and jilted lovers not long after the ink dried on that agreement.

I was arrested twelve to thirteen times and a flurry of murder bids were launched against me by psychotic monsters who form the offal of all classes,most notable amongst them being Cody and Mad Dog Manley.

In 2010,I had a boot placed on the back of my neck by Aidan Rogers, one of the NHS thugs employed n the T and F Psychiatric Hospital while another,Enda Mc Crory, placed his boot at the base of my spine.

An act of contrition from the authorities after I took these medical freaks and their police 'handlers' to court in September 1999?

Not on your nelly!

Yet again,in 2015 on Campbell's orders I had my head smashed off the ground by the resident hospital psychopaths at the T and F. Mc Crory once again,the Tyrone thug with links to drunken GAA arseholes in the Tattyreagh GAA and the Gallagher FBI/NHS/ PSNI family (Tattyreagh, Omagh/ Dunluce Avenue,South Belfast)..

All NHS psychiatry should be abandoned and psychiatric hospitals shut down. As long as there is a financial incentive for layabouts such as hospital orderlies to beat people up and for doctors to poison members of the public,we will have these parasites on the public payroll. Filth breeds more filth.

Hospital orderlies defy even the most basic standards of justice and the elementary principles of law. Their behaviour would not be possible without an organised police force grounded in colonialism and a willing retinue of Irish Quislings.

The media's role in this political circus

Listen to the mock moral outrage of politicians and police and attempts to ascribe mass killings and random acts of medical violence to mental illness. Then you learn that many of our leaders are leading the charge of the light brigade.

The advocates of mass incarceration are trying to turn the clock back to the 1860's with their incessant psychobabble. We think in particular of the nonsense uttered by old BBC,Irish News,Sinn Fein,SDLP and RTE hens.

This ubiquitous chatter about mental health is entirely unnecessary,I think.

Almost all of it issues from those most at risk of a mental breakdown, namely women in the public eye.

A palliative 

Doctors and general nurses should be allowed to get on with their work uninfluenced by sterile old farm-sows such as Gildernew,O Neill, Mc Donald and those silly female know-it-all types in the political  field and faded beauty queens in the press and media. 

A prophylactic?

Because there is real, justified concern from so many members of the public and because the politicians should be prepared to confront mass hysteria, restrictions should be put in place on the proliferating parasitism of public medicine particularly the non-scientific variant, psychiatry.

Devolving parliament's powers to the police is a sign that parliament is neither fit nor willing to govern.

Where parliament abrogates its own powers in favour of the police,the next person to be consulted will be a doctor. He will most assuredly libel and poison a conscientious objector and a dissenting voice. That is what is meant by a system of anomie and that is what we have had since Christian knights returned from Palestine to Ireland.

Irish city people used to see in Irish country people comrades in the fight for jobs and higher wages. The worldly wise journalist and advocate sees country people's socialism as no more than stubbornness and truculence. The Irish countryman sees in the town dweller a fanatic out to cheat him. His simple notions and transparent deceptions must be met with scorn and contempt.

Why,so?

 Because the country person is a 'cute hoor' who pushes someone from the town into the frontline to take the bullet for him. Those who mix with idiots become like them.

Today in many instances in Northern Ireland, people turn to law.

Other people turn to that fickle type of friend,a politician,for support and mediation because the courts are closed to the majority. 

Why are courts the prerogative of the rich?

 Even with Legal Aid,few can negotiate the perils of the judiciary and the legal profession.

Some politicians thrive on a background of no labour organisation having the power or determination to bring them to account. The trade union official is in an ambiguous relation with the politician (Lenin,Left Wing Socialism,an Infantile Disorder,1919). 

However,in the North of Ireland,these days, politicians can do more to help individuals than trade unions but they can only do so because they mediate social differences. Sooner or later, every politician will spurn his or her constituent and ask him or her to go away because at the end of the day none,NONE,are true socialists or working class representatives.

Labour is better for jobs and housing, industrial employment and public housing, certainly not private housing.

Take for instance the period of reflation after the labour troubles and strikes of the years 1978-79.

In Northern Ireland industrial employment rose from 210 000(1979) to 230 000 (1981).

Then the wreckers moved in with the demolition ball to destroy our industrial heritage. Because of the reactionary influence of an over-weened police force and a cowboy in the White House the real economy of the West entered a decline.

That decline in Northern Ireland has led to endemic, unreported crime,the triumph of the idler and the waster and the exaltation of the showbiz celebrity and spiv.

A waged worker does not have security of employment. That fact marks the origin of trade unionism (and craft hostility to general workers and the unemployed worker).

The government employee has no need of trade unions and should not be in one because he usually has more than adequate means of economic support. In addition ,he enjoys political solidarity in the form of employer arbitration,civil society support and legal protection.

The craft worker and general worker only unite against government employee when circumstances are pressing and urgent. Those circumstances embrace minimal remuneration to keep living standards up and maintain safe working arrangements and adequate provision for sick leave, unemployment and leisure.

A Labour fool such as Brendan Howlin or Ernest Blythe talks and acts in the manner of the country squire by cutting wages,living standards and social standards. The trimmer is never welcome in labour circles and his nemesis is the general strike when trade unions break free from the halter of a runaway coach. That is symptomatic of a political collapse. 

Eventually nationalist whimsies whether they be from Fine Gael or Fianna Fail or Sinn Fein or country wiseacres prevail and society goes back in time about twenty or thirty years.

The lessons of the past are clear.

Irish Labour Party heads always desert and betray trade unionists and the poor. They clear a path for quack remedy salesmen such as Sinn Fein and independents as they describe themselves. In the latter instance,I refer to Danny Healy-Rae,the Kerry landlord.

While there may be very little that can be said in favour of Fianna Fail, under Ahern it led a democratic revolution which laid bare the timbers of the sinking ship of cronyism and nationalism and corruption so beloved of the Catholic Church and GAA.

Those who lament the passing of the age of Lynch, Haughey and Reynolds also lament the passing of the age of terrorism, unrest and emigration and they generally do not favour the economic rebirth of our country.

It  has been led by Fianna Fail,solely and alone with only the occasional prod from others.

Fianna Fail is getting on its feet again after a difficult hiatus.

Even Sinn Fein has become a democratic party and the nationalist element of all parties is in retreat. A country rescued from the scrapheap is set on the path of open government and strict accountability.

That,my good sirs,is a DEMOCRATIC revolution. Not extreme democracy,a workers republic. The patient's condition is improving and he is out of a coma (or 'bind').

This suggestion may be a counsel of last resort,I think, reflecting on the passing season of goodwill.

However,we are a society on the dissecting table  and our country is being shaped now for the foreseeable future. Intelligent people do not want the British remedial state model,or thinking  Southerners the German economic "export" model. 

The civil-military disruption of England in the 1970's by conspirators  such as SAS Colonel Stirling and MI 5 and Britain today is a reflection of a political model based on the industrial conflict of the 1920's and the political antagonism which originated in the 1840's.

What is to Be Done?

The police cannot be expected to contribute meaningfully to the solution of the problem of the police -doctor terror nexus because they do not have an ounce of kindness -do not fool yourself,members of the public-but respond well to discipline.

We need legislation to restrict the powers of police, doctors and vermin such as social workers.

In the interim,if the police are making a nuisance of themselves as they often do in country areas,respond by writing to the Chief Constable. If they have committed a serious crime of assault or been party to its committal,write to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Where a copper is sitting on a tribunal as secret witness and ex-policemen often do these days,write to the Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Commission. Do not leave that to your solicitor since he will soon cut himself loose from a journalistic advocate such as a social media critic while indulging himself with meaningless pleasantries unless he is a particularly dedicated 'legal hound' in this age of universal insights and press indifference.

While solicitors may have great mental stamina,in prevalent conditions in Northern Ireland it is often too much to ask of him to put all or,even,a fair proportion of your wrongs too right.

 A trade union can do that much more quickly and promptly to prevent a catastrophe.

The Golden Rule in legal matters is:Ring the phone off the hook if you please because it is down to you,the success of the case. Tell your lawyer every relevant detail,no matter how small.

Recent experience of our unbalanced political society in the North of Ireland shows that it is only women who are in any way animated by politics.

Vote for at least some of these ungrateful fools but never a woman. If you do,the police will hand republicans, nationalists and democrats over to the custody of doctors. The police know instinctively that they must humiliate and degrade every sentient Catholic and sensible graduate. Lawyers and Northern politicians never interfere with what Labour and Tories call national security and the agenda for Sinn Fein is set by the British Government. Tony Blair did not accept a single section of the UN Declaration on Human Rights. That resulted in the mess created by politicians for judges and legal professionals to unravel.

Ultraleftism. The "scientific socialists"...their Irish counterparts connection to thugs and criminals

With regards to the main protagonists in the advance from ape to man in Western societies,two prominent names stand out. Those names are Marx and Lenin. Also featuring prominently is Marx's literary executor, Friedrich Engels.

There are many leading facts to be discovered about Marx and Engels which iconoclasts reject as baseless.

Marx and Engels hijacked the English labour movement in the 1860's. They were left behind by the Germans at the 1875 Unity Conference and Engels rejected the demands which have become the basic tenets of modern socialism in the discussions on the Erfurt Programme of the German Social Democratic Party in 1891.

 In the 1840's Marx and Engels hoisted themselves  up on the back of the Communist League and created what became a great schism by forcing out the Christians such as Weitling. Weitling's emigration to the US gave rise to a constant cycle of packed meetings, conspiracies, showboating,rigged ballots,political grandstanding,verbal abuse and rhetorical handstands in trade union circles. All such features are the trademarks of ultraleft sects not political parties of the working class.

Each and every one of them is at least a backslider and a curmudgeon, the road to no town. The Pbp group are a case in point. In the North Sinn Fein's vote fell from 227 000 in the Assembly elections to 175 000 in the last local elections. Their core vote has been declining since its highpoint in the 2010's.

PBP,Sinn Fein and the people who inspire them imitate those such as the Workers Party. All are the mortal foes of any democratic socialist government. (The opportunists and the populists never give the poor and working man his say in public affairs. They say that rival parties exist by and thrive on media spin and Sinn Fein are often accused of intimidation).

 Only a minority of the traditional Irish party of opposition,the republicans, endeavour to help the thinking public with any success. Most of them resort to mob violence when their poverty of ideas is exposed.

It is their own doing. The democrats present themselves to the electorate regularly. Those who hope for a class-based revolution go by the name of modern-day Communists. They do not.

The active Communists number 11 throughout the island of Ireland. Therefore,Barry Murray, Eugene Mc Cartan and Tommy Mc Kearney are irrelevant. In their worthless sighing and pious imprecations, they are blowing soap bubbles out of their backsides. In Ireland these Stalinists (or Communists) have always been irrelevant apart from to trade union officials. 

The eccentricities of the Communists everywhere do not matter to anyone who is possessed of even a modicum of intelligence .They go around trying to hook young people. People such as Mc Cartan send their disgruntled affiliates into the arms of the jailer when they refuse to supply them with information that they intend to sell to the Gardai. It is at all times the political innocent who gives information to Gardai. The Gardai are a vicious and reactionary force.

The Marxist project,1858

Marx in Foundations of Political Economy (see Introduction,Grundrisse,1856-8) set out to write six different works. 

In the event he left only Volume 1 of Capital. That book focuses on the materialist conception of history, labour conditions,the origins and spread of industry,the profit motive,money and the accumulation of capital.

But regardless of the political, social and economic phantasmagoria of public life, there are many other dimensions of human life and social existence other than social Darwinism and historical materialism.

The Old Mole (as he called himself) with his description of capital accumulation and writings which embrace the best working descriptions of capitalism and political discontent and working class hostility to the rich,not forgetting his dialectical materialism, discovered many of the key aspects of modern social existence and human development.

 Just because he cannot sit on our shoulders to give us political advice today does not mean that his writings are wrong in economic, historical or philosophical terms. However,we must approach them with caution because  they are deterministic.

Despite their heartless outlooks, practices and ideas some scientific socialists are good-hearted. I am thinking of seasoned old campaigners on the moderate spectrum such as Kieran Allen and Willy Cumming but we cannot get away from the fact that theirs is a callous, inhuman and degrading ideology no better in its workings than slavery. 

A relationship of enslavement was precisely what the Russians found themselves in almost immediately after the consolidation of "the dictatorship of the proletariat". With the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly in November  1918 came the autocracy of first Lenin then the rabid dungmongering of Trotsky. That was succeeded by the Stalin Terror.

If you become entangled in the snares of Communists and the ideology of Stalinism and atheistic Bolshevism, consult a priest for guidance and absolution since it is a grave moral error requiring the Sacraments.

Amongst the dated concepts of revolutionary socialism is the inevitability of a dictatorship of the proletariat. 

Why do we call out this joint aim of the dolemen,bourgeois intelligentsia and French and Irish cutthroats?

The CPI version of the syndicalism of the 1930's gave way to the hole and corner reformism of the Irish Labour Party in the post-War years. This labour stew ferments into fringe journalism noone other than Indian fakirs take as coming from the heart.

Communism and Socialism

Firstly, before I deal in modern movements for change and democracy,I must talk briefly about dialectics. Dialectics as per Karl Marx teaches the interdependence and interrelationship of one to the other. Hegelian dialectics insofar as it stands in opposition to Marx preaches the permanence of certain social and political phenomena whereas Marx repeats after Aristotle that nothing is permanent and "All melts into the ether."

Marxism in our times is confined to small groups of political amateurs and sociologists so what has talk of Marxist dialectics led to other than rude and robust responses to oppression by the class conscious worker and poor man and talking shops for rich dilettantes?

It does well to remember the comely maidens and fireside generals and country wiseacres who pontificate,"Extremists cannot agree on anything for more than ten minutes together without it ending in catcalls or in them insulting one another." One anarchist agitator related to me if memory serves me right,"All of them including some democratic socialists like other people to do their job for them as they do in China but not in Vietnam. Vietnam is founded on respect, fair play and hard work. China and Vietnam came to blows for that very reason in 1978".

Communism

Lenin in 1921-22 discovered the need for economic  adjustments and that which the St. Petersburg famine of 1919 made clear and the collapse of nationalised trusts in April 1918 demonstrated even earlier.  (Earlier again,the example of the War Industries Committee in England in April 1916 and the subsequent growing labour unrest in Britain. Ditto, the impossible demands made by German state capitalism on workers in August 1917 and early 1918). 

What was this great enduring lesson of the social epoch in question?

The labour movement and trade unions in particular can not be bought off with flimsy promises and empty rhetoric. If Lenin had wanted to refresh his memory in 1919 he should have read his own oppositionist article "Soft words don't butter parsnips" (1905).

A quick transition from revolutionary socialism (or 'War Communism', requisitioning) to democratic socialism (or,what I call revolutionary democracy and real communism) with that reform communism being understood as more advanced in the years from 1917 to 1922?

In 1922 in launching the New Economic Plan,Lenin acknowledged that which distinguishes revolutionary socialism from reform communism, namely real individual freedoms to breathe and possess in the latter scenario. This was not a step backward  as he imagined,but a step forward. Socialism or the New Economic Plan has a private ownership dimension. Russia? The experience of the past?

The New Economic Plan?

With hindsight,we see what it was back then..rapid recovery from chaos. Lenin's New Economic Plan goes to understanding Russia between 1921 and 1928.

Flexibility?

We  see in the private ownership of personal property, the lease-holding of factories, trade union 'government' and State freehold ownership of factories the key to a rapid turnaround from the economic maladies of 1913-1921. Russian economic problems were formed by the war exhaustion of 1917 and its well-known historic backwardness. In 1928 Russia regained its 1913 economic level.

Somewhat unusually, I view the combination of public and private property as "actually existing communism" in the same way that one might refer to nationalisation as "actually existing socialism".

Whether one is a bully like Irish or British and German politicians or a communist depends on your opinion on both national and world matters, particularly on problems of social development and economic affairs.

Nationalised trusts/ monopolies did not recognise inalienable human rights to either private property or subsistence payments from the Bolshevik government.

By 1928,the problems had become abundant after the agricultural mixed economy became an object of mass speculation, hoarding and price-fixing. These problems were increased by rural stubbornness and obstinacy.

 The modern Russian economic system recognises the basic tenet of progress in normal existence that public ownership is irreversible to a very great extent. 

Problems with a mixed economy in a democratic, multi-party polis?

Problems and "contradictions which arise from real life" can be ironed out by political debate and responsible well-informed leaders. Russia is a much better place than in 1989. What wishful thinkers in the Western  media failed to report in 1991 was that the trade unions called time on the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

 Today?

 There is a balanced budget and a wise, learned and experienced man at the helm.

Jim Brown, Geoff Palmer and Eugene Mc Cartan were never welcome in any intelligent company. Nor today are Communists in Ireland or Asia tolerated by sane,reasonable people. If one good thing can be said about the IRA,it broke up their so-called Soviets in 1922 and physically threw them out of the Rotunda,a maternity hospital not a bivouac for drunken dossers. In Britain recently we had the brutal police terror and rampant inequality of Blair's New Labour Britain. How so? I was one of the multitude deserted by the Sinn Fein hangmen. In my case,I was interned for five years three months by the English Catholic maniac after the signing of the Good Friday Agreement.For ten months of that period,I had to subsist on £12.25 per week. Another sociopath and cripple,Vincent Davidson, declared an income of £400 000 in the following tax year of 2008-9.

The rule of law in Blair's Britain? Good governance?

 Blair's Britain was a society and country put on a path to ruin due to the lack of effective regulation of doctors, police and psychiatrists. We see in his ravings and tawdry legacy not a true democracy or Labour alternative to the Tories and,in Northern Ireland ,a hollow syncretism of opposing viewpoints. The Catholic Church created the Good Friday Agreement and a failed policing and judicial model.

In its idealistic form,communism was superior to Blair's childish mish-mash of ideas, ideas he only half understood. Blair was a skin-deep type of politician who tried to ride two horses at once. Unlike Winston Churchill, he did not realise that you cannot please everybody all of the time. That is certainly a mistake Vladimir Putin has not made by the invasion of Ukraine.

Blair?

Ambivalent people such as Tony Blair make good politicians but bad judges of people. He was useless in his chosen field,law. He had to evacuate his chambers and enter politics once his Master realised that he was a clown,a fool and an imposter. He was well-known before he became involved in politics for not knowing a single topic of law properly. In politics,he wanted to give speeches,'lead from the front' and 'organise' intractable and irredeemable chaos.

Blair and Thatcher? The stiff upper lip? Neoliberalism?

Contemporary British society is an enduring reflection of Blair's and Thatcher's bizarre experiments,the opposites of good jurisprudence and good law. Even Boris Yeltsin could see that neither had a bull's notion about anything and were talking through their hat. He, Yeltsin,had seen enough of social market experiments and 'free-market' economics by 1997 to last him a lifetime. He handed over to someone who is destined to lead Russia to complete ruin if he does not realise that you never trust an opponent in an armed conflict. Those fighting at the frontline on both sides and those being called up to fighting are his mortal enemies. A dualist democratic-authoritarian  government has taken over from the right-wing.

Blair and the rule of law?

Blair believed firmly in using extra-judicial measures up to and including physical torture and false imprisonment for long periods. Those were the tactics he directed at his opponents who had no union membership card,something Jim Brown, Derek Parton,Brendan Heuston and the local trade union official tried to deny myself. Even SIPTU or a democratic  trade union officer or official  never denies a subscription-paying member a membership card. Members of tiny, insignificant left-wing groups such as the Communist Party of Ireland are not democrats or interested in anything other than the next expenses cheque from the Department of Education or union central office.

Crimes against humanity in Ireland? My solution?

Indict Tony Blair,Robin Cook's widow and Jack Straw for crimes against humanity and bring them in handcuffs before the International Criminal Court in the Hague. Seize Blair's twelve luxury houses. Alternatively,he could present himself voluntarily for trial to the International Criminal Court.

Likewise,let us not forget Jack Straw,that is,the main culprit in mass murder by the British and US governments. Whatever one thinks about Putin's war against Ukraine,he has stopped NATO dead in its tracks, something which any responsible Russian leader should have done decades ago rather than chasing after the elusive rainbows of Peace and 'foreign treasure' .

One-Brain-Cell people and thugs got the main gist of their criticism of Mikhail Gorbachev and his coterie of Western admirers and camp followers correct. They were only bandits like our shoneen republicans in long black cars.

Modern times

Very few Provisionals had a proper grasp of their enormous undertaking.

The Irish filibustering pamphleteers are only spectators,not actors in recent dramas and their claims to be working class or democratic leaders have been categorically and conclusively refuted and disowned.

People such as Mc Cann live in the shadows of others such as myself who took the bull by the horns and went to war at a younger age.

We tackled the problem of gaolers and the various other sorts of hangmen head-on.

I and many others regard people such as Mc Cann and his associates as unreliable and unstable observers who are profoundly hostile to the cause of human freedoms and national independence as a basis for Progress.

As I say elsewhere in this series of articles (or 'posts') there is nothing radical about nationalism but that there can be some residual interest for a politically-minded person if you are interested in national democracy of a semi-socialist kind or you are on the left.

That is the popular direction of social democracy since the Fall of the Soviet experiment of nationalist socialism. 

This Stalinism or national democracy or nationalist socialism scorned by Lenin was what ran the Soviet Union in the 1930's.

In 1937-8 widespread disenchantment set in at the rapid pace of state capital accumulation and reckless disregard for human life and legal freedoms in many countries which had fallen under the spell of this nationalist socialism.

Communism because of isolation had never pursued a truly Marxist path of equality but rather had run with the idea of deprivation of the former rulers of all rights.

In fact the 1935 Constitution restored those rights only to meet with widespread opposition from the Old Bolsheviks (Atheistic Communism,The Vatican,1937).

Socialism on the German model or statist type limited democracy was the option favoured by Lenin after the collapse of the industrial trusts in April 1918. German or 'True' socialism is not universal state ownership of the means of production, distribution and exchange but rather "nationalisation of the commanding heights of the economy". A mixture of private and state ownership of same.

When Socialism of the Stalin type faced fascism in every country in Europe after 1919,the international association of communist parties supported coalitions with those formerly disenfranchised by the Leninists. That was a search for progressive forces to unite with and put in the driving seat.

The latter policy only changed when in the 1970's Russia was threatened with industrial obsolescence and industrial bit part player in Europe.

The United States emerged as the main threat to Russian sovereignty in the 1950's and was in that role until its supersession by the Chinese in recent years.

However,China is an insular society as was Germany before the War and can never in its traditions or outreach to other countries project its culture as did the Russian monolith and as did US hegemony in response.

Both Russian geographic expanse and American tyranny are an existential threat to China in its primordial state as it finds itself.

Neither Modern Russia nor antediluvian China want anything to do with Marxism and legality in the former instance and anything with even a tinge of constitutional democracy or parliamentary representation as it exists in fair and egalitarian societies in the latter instance.
