 The parties in the Stormont Assembly only gain 55% of the total votes of those registered as eligible to cast their ballot.

It is also the unspoken but recorded fact  that 28% of eligible Catholic voters are not on the electoral register and 22-24% of eligible Protestant voters  are not registered to vote....

Perhaps for many MLA's as Brecht catcalled in East Germany in 1953 after the results of the general election were announced,"The people have refused to elect the right government. We must elect a different people..."

Surely when the people in Stormont are told that they do not have the support of the majority of the population,they see in popular mimickry a retort to the lack of legitimacy.....

The Troubles

Sinn Fein and Workers Party and democratic socialists have always been at loggerheads.

Marxists and the CIA finance their activities by selling drugs to children and layabouts.
