Its substantive claims to be evidence-based?
A legal fiction. Psychiatric diagnoses consist usually of manufactured evidence,not forgetting pious genuflections to the law.
A storm petrel,these twenty years and more,of a shift from a law-governed state to barbarism and totalitarianism.
The theory?
The chaos theory.
Only madmen such as Blair, Johnson, Hain, Harman, Brown and a boy called Mandy would give any credence to psychiatry. No properly-trained advocate takes the NHS claims seriously,much less a knowledgeable politician. We do not count mad-dogs such as Seamus Treanor and Colm Gildernew as knowledgeable politicians.

Universally the mentally disordered and schizoaffective Indian madmen connected to the New Delhi School of Psychotherapy and a few mentally unhinged Irish,Asian, Pakistani and German freaks of nature from medical families. They have been cast adrift on the high seas after thirty years of study to make a living for themselves.
A most pernicious type of slander is uttered by a schizoaffective woman doctor . I think in particular of psychotics such as Patterson, Cody,Health, Cunningham and Campbell.
