A good job well hammered (15/11/2014 , 1/12/2019 et sequenter)

The unprecedented turnaround in the fortunes of the South is an enormous achievement for the Irish Labour Party and their coalition partners.Since Europe entered recession in 2007, the South is the only region where the gap in wealth has been reduced (ESRI Report, 2014).

In the November budget, the top rate of Social Solidarity Charge was increased to 8% for those on high salaries.

One per cent of the taxable population pays 20% of the total income tax gathered in by the Southern government and the top twenty per cent pay 80% of this tax.

Outrageous salaries in the public service and health service have been reduced directly by agreement. Two hundred medical posts have been advertised for new entrants after their incumbents refused to accept lower salaries.

Unemployment is falling.

A lot done, more to do!

Social and well-maintained Public Housing and the protection of the physically ill and those fleeing war and police and military repression and violence, not bogus self-stled asylum-seekers from Asia and Africa, must be the priority for the Irish Labour Party in the next two years. The first steps have been taken towards universal health provision.

These are exciting times as the old Russian proverb states. However, that expression  is meant as a curse. For many, welfare payments and discretionary health insurance have been reduced.

The excitement-despite contrary indications and sniping and red herrings from small groups of isolated individuals- is coming to an end. Uneducated hooligans and political parasites and dilletantes and degenerates such as Boyd- Barrett, Mc Cann and O'Brien have made their loud-mouthed appearance to  media fanfare. At the present time their extremism and waywardness is being highlighted on radio and TV and in the press.

The easily gulled have no need to get on the DART and go out and view Richard's
£16m. house on the Dun Laoghaire seafront. He is someone who has never had a real occupation of the kind of those who create with hand or mind....he shàres this mountàin  of old bricks and creaky stairs with his husbànd.

...

The three just demands of Irish labour:

1. Properly and efficiently maintained public housing and an Act of the Oireachtas guaranteeing the right to immediate housing provision in an emergency.

2.Universal health provision free at the point of delivery to all.

3.Collaborative collective bargaining.

Bon chance!

Shouldn't questions be asked in the Dail Dole Office about the origin of left-wing spouters' wealth when they have never had a meaningful job or worked a day in their entire lives.

Just as England or Scotland is no place for a sentient Irishman, much less a woman or Irish nurse, nor should Ireland be a long-term place of residence for the African,Asian,German or other foreigner who sticks out like a sore thumb unless he is  a visitor on a scholarship or refugee, religious or someone fleeing war, persecution or imminent threat of violence or slavery or concocted allegations before a higher court in their native jurisdiction.

English and Americans only regardless of their colour, creed or class i.e. those who can claim some ancestral connection to our Irish Home and its fighting men...

There can, however,be NO question of CITIZENSHIP rights.

How long should migrants fleeing violence and police-political terror and fascism and medical hooliganism be allowed to stay, therefore?

More or less indefinitely...the right of asylum is ignored at one's peril.

.....

It is however when you put a Negro or coloured person in charge of your affairs that you find out the cut of his jib. You shall go in vain cap in hand, begging, even crawling on your hands and knees looking for justice or even welfare doles but you shall find out the brutal and barbaric nature of this "wages slave" who hates the white man as a comprador and oppressor. His glib manner, his smooth tongue, his languorous demeanour and his contemptuous speech give away his concupiscence with police and big money types and the stingy old housemaid. He is a beast who must be caged and put in a zoo or at least,a home for the criminally insane.

The black man and the Asian have no place in our country and must leave immediately. We do not know who is sending these people here but it is clear that we owe neither them or their countries any obligation and that GO, THEY MUST.
