All types of ideology-driven protest movements are best described as national democratic and nationalist socialist. Their politics amount to trying to pull their own countries up by their bootstraps. None of them succeed in the long run on these solo runs. The Troubles
Sinn Fein and Workers Party and democratic socialists have always been at loggerheads.
No nationalist insurrectionist or revolutionary socialist or Communist ever let any democratic socialist or Catholic fidelis have his say or gave him their vote. Their hearts are as black as the Earl of Hell's waistcoat.
These are autonomous organisations left over from the days of opposition to liberal democracy, something which is exclusively the product of the French Revolution and the February Revolution.
Trump is a nationalist opponent of liberal democracy (and Christian humanism). He is trying to usher in a semi-fascist presidency,one which invests executive, judicial and legislative powers in his hands.
Insurrectionists such as Trump and revolutionary socialists such as Allen send out mischievous people who you meet in the street.

Nationalist insurrectionists and revolutionary socialists are DICTATORS formed by the politics of the 1840's in the case of nationalism and in the 1920's in the case of Bolshevism.

But why is nationalism growing in the North of Ireland?
Nationalism as it is known grows in Northern Ireland because it festers on the wounds of a bogus consensus shattered into a thousand pieces by the Northern Ireland Office and a nationalist middle class which compromised with colonialism.
Nationalism will,I conclude, always be an lamh in uachtar here. Its substance of self-government is openly challenged by the British and their police, soldiers and servants and brings forth the anger of the Catholic population.
